Our efforts: Since March 21st, 2026 YTD, ReTyred has:

• Partnered with 15 bicycle shops, across 14 neighborhoods located in 11 different wards *¹
• Preformed 60 collections in just 30 operational days *²
• Successful diverted 3,619 tires and 5,051 tubes from the landfills
• Estimated 2.23 tons of tires and 0.84 tons of tubes diverted from the landfills *³
• Utilized cargo bicycles for 92% of collections. Uhaul 7%. Personal vehicle 1%
• Cycled product over (estimated) 620 miles (will improve data capture in 2027)

2. Working Bikes is comprised of 45 donation drop-off partners which translates to ReTyred servicing Working Bikes actual volumes from a combined 36 bicycle shops and 19 home drop off locations across IL/IN/WI 🙂 All under one roof! ↩︎
3. While we do not currently possess a floor scale, using an average weight of 560 grams per tire and 150 grams per tube, we estimate 4,460 lbs of tires and 1,680 lbs of tubes (both converted into tonnage) diverted from landfills. We are actively investigating the most accurate data capture methods related to diverted C02 emissions from the landfills. ↩︎
